Visit from Krautkuh to our school

Today, the Fox Class 1a and the Owl Class 1b had a very special visitor: Janina Krautkuh came to visit and shared exciting and important information about cows with the children. Together, they explored why cows are so important to us humans—among other things, because of their milk, which is used to make many delicious and useful products.

A real highlight of the day was the practical session, in which the children were allowed to make butter from cream themselves. They shook enthusiastically until the butter separated from the buttermilk. At the end, they enjoyed fresh bread with their homemade butter – a real treat!
The students had a lot of fun and learned a great deal during this special morning. A big thank you to Janina Krautkuh for the informative and eventful visit!
