On Friday afternoon at the end of the school year, classes 1a and 1b went on a joint trip to a nearby playground. In bright sunshine, the children were able to play, romp around, and bring the school year to a cheerful close.
During their stay, some children from class 1b discovered two suspicious bags in a bush. When they curiously looked inside, they found cell phones, an iPad, and several personal documents such as health insurance cards and ID cards.
The accompanying parents immediately informed the police. They arrived shortly thereafter, examined the items, and determined that at least one of the bags had previously been reported stolen. The two police officers thanked the children warmly for their attentiveness and assistance.
For the children, this incident was a very special and exciting experience – something like this doesn't happen every day at the playground! They will surely remember this trip for a long time to come.
